The LOHR GROUP, founded in 1963 by our founder, Mr. Robert Lohr, who summarizes our values with his words:

In 1963, it produced the first auto carrier solutions,
In 1975, he turned to the fields of logistics and defense,
Developed the first detachable superstructure EUROLOHR in 1987,
In 1990, it added passenger transportation and combined transportation equipment development and manufacturing to its field,
In 2001, the first rubber-tyred tram TRANSLOR was commissioned,
In 2003, MODALOHR wagons, the first combined transportation product, were put into operation,
In 2015, it introduced the electric public transportation solution CRYSTAL to the market and continues to work on the autonomous driving version.

We maintain our global industrial presence with our expert R&D staff consisting of 1350 employees and 120 engineers and technicians, 6 production centers spread over 3 continents, in addition to our main factory, which is located on 650 decares of land in Duppigheim – Alsace – France, with a closed area of 100,000 m2. .

At the beginning of the 2000s in our country, in parallel with the developments in the automotive industry, growth targets and new solution demands; In 2003, LOHR GROUP decided to invest in Turkey in order to meet the needs of the domestic market and increase its presence in export markets, and in the same year, LOHR ISTANBUL ATŞIT ARAÇLARI SANAYİ ve TİCARET A.Ş. was established and started deliveries in 2004.

Since our establishment, the production of auto carrier solutions in various models, especially for export markets, today mainly EUROLOHR EHR 100; It continues with our EUROTALE and SHR FOURGON models.

All of our vehicles that we have produced in the past, despite their working life of nearly 20 years, both abroad and in the country, continue their service without any problems and are included in the fleets of our friends who are among us today.

LOHR products, which I mentioned at the beginning, have been developed with the meticulous work of our R&D staff and have a rightful leadership and trust in the world markets; The trouble-free years spent in our country are the result of the knowledge, skill and effort that LOHR ISTANBUL staff has accumulated and added to the products.

An important purpose of our being here today is; As a result of our product diversification decision, which we have taken as the LOHR GROUP, we present to you VALOHR, the brand of our new standard road trailer series that joined our family, and PLATO, the first type of the series.

VALOHR – PLATO, serving in our country for many years; the wooden case-truck duo, which has been a substitute for a long time; It is an open semi-trailer with sheet metal cover, without awning superstructure. This solution, which weighs 5950 kg, is equipped with 3 BPW axles and pneumatic suspension, double-circuit braking system in accordance with AT regulations, LED lighting, lift axle; In our standard application, the chassis, front wall and side covers are covered with hot-dip galvanization. Thus, throughout the life of the vehicle, corrosion of the chassis and superstructure over time is prevented.

This solution is the transfer of our experience of design and application suitable for hot galvanizing, which we use in our auto carrier models, to the new member of our family.
